Mr. Xiang

On many of our updates on this blog, we have explained how the biogas digesters improve the environment and in particular help the health and status of women. However, on the trip I am on now in YongShun, I met Mr. Xiang (62) who is most excited about the produce that comes out of the digester after it has produced methane.
Mr Xing has two sons who work in the city. He is very pleased about his increased income from the YongShun Project. Standing in front of his sheep pen, he expressed his gratitude and sais our project can help him earn more money by using the biogas residues to fertilize his orchard. “The sheep feces are hard to gather, so they were just wasted in the past. The slurry and sludge can be used as fertilizer and can be of great value.”

Slurry & sludge straight from the digesters onto the  plants.
